a 2019 … WOWww!!

Dear friends, dear friends,

the 2019 it was really a “YEAR WOWwww” for “Heroic in motion”; all of our projects 2 wheels, including some unpublished, have been realized with great satisfaction, While, from an organizational point of view, “Tamoè” -the Amateur Sports Association which is the technical subject of all our activities- has obtained an important certificate of the quality and seriousness of its work: recognition of the legal personality, by the Prefecture as a territorial representative of the Italian government.

Let's hope that the 2020 be just as dense and generous; for our part we are already working hard to further improve all our appointments “Classics” and, as usual, add some novelty gluttony!

“Having fun is serious business” reads the title of a book by a dear heroic friend, and we're going to go all the way to give ourselves memorable emotions; but at this end of the year's budgets, I would like to draw your attention to what is our commitment, while we have fun, to build just as seriously a world a little’ best for everyone, always through our fabulous passion for motorcycles and travel.

Collaboration with the “Fondazione Fabrizio Meoni” it's long-standing, and is celebrated with a day together dedicated to the great friend and champion on the Sunday of our meeting “Dust&Gloria” (SAVE THE DATE!); our contribution to the 2019 was used - along with the proceeds of a charity evening with Francesco Moser and the fundraiser of friends of Lc8- for the construction of a classroom for training and activity in agriculture ( a mix of stocked cultivated and harvested products, training room and tool remittance) at the Champs Nkoloman in Cameroon, lost forest where really poor indigenous peoples live.

The one with “Children in the wilderness” instead it was operationally inaugurated during the year, but it has already achieved appreciable results: thanks to our contribution, it was in fact possible to ensure the maintenance of the activities at Garage Italia, training school in mechanics for street kids of Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. In particular, our share went to the purchase of work suits and to cover a part of the salaries of the trainer in mechanics and the literacy teacher being the pupils, when they enter the training and educational path of Garage Italia, at 60% Illiterate. From 2014 to date out of ten kids who complete the course 7 they found work in their country; vocational training is a powerful anti-migration tool.

But above all, in partnership also with “Table 8 Onlus“, we're working on a really great project: In the next few days I leave for the last visit to Dakar driving my glorious 30-year-old Volvo with its million miles in the pistons, which will then become a cheerful SchoolBus for Senegal; with a little’ luck, in December 2020 we can all start together, riding our “rusty”, for the first edition of “Rust2Dakar, In“!

Meanwhile, two other dear friends 2 wheels, Roberto and Sabrina, on their African tour they came all the way to Ivory Coast on the outskirts of the School that we built – YOU REMEMBER IT?!

A very soon Heroic, a ABBRACCIO, and then away, together, towards new goals!! Andrea
